The VB-HR™ Rating produces a number of standardised reports which are generated from our HC Reporting portfolio. These include a number of calculations combining data from the VB-HR™ inventory together with available financial data.

Aside from the rating, of particular importance is the HCM Quotient (HCMQ) - a composite measure combining productivity and HCM investment efficiency, together with Human Capital Intensity (HCI) - a measure of the degree to which human capital is utilised in the organisation. These numbers require a degree of sophisticated adjustments to reflect 'true' figures.

Our HC Measurement toolkit can also assist client organisations with regard to constructing a human capital measurement template, focusing on three core principles:

• prioritisation - determining HCM areas in terms of ranking their impact/value/
importance

• calibration - reporting metrics and their unit/frequency of measurement for reporting performance/trends

• explanation - ensuring all measures have appropriate narrative to enable understanding
